Branding that works for Mosaic Multicultural Connections

Branding that works for Mosaic Multicultural Connections

Branding is often misunderstood as simply putting a logo on a product, which is a common misconception. When done thoughtfully, branded items can reinforce your identity, engage your team, and create meaningful connections with staff, clients, and your wider community. Another way we can help your business is through branded and promotional products. From practical office items to high-impact giveaways, these products provide a tangible way to communicate your brand values. Recently, our resident expert Ally Johnson worked with Anna Malaspina, Workforce Development Lead at Mosaic Multicultural Connections (Mosaic), to create stylish and practical drink bottles and notebooks designed to engage staff and strengthen team connection.

About Mosaic Multicultural Connections

Mosaic has supported migrants, refugees, and multicultural communities across Newcastle, the Hunter, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, New England, and North West regions for over 40 years. Previously known as Northern Settlement Services Limited, Mosaic provides programs and support in settlement, families and young people, aged care, and community development. With a rich diversity of communities, Mosaic understands the importance of connection and the role staff play in delivering meaningful support to those they serve.

Creating a quality brand experience

To ensure the products met both practical needs and brand goals, Ally collaborated closely with Anna to identify the best options. Anna shared that the wide variety of products and price points made the selection process straightforward: “There was a large range in various price points and quality to choose from. It made the selection easy as we had a budget and could see what products met our needs.”

The Venture A5 notebooks were chosen for their stylish design and everyday usability, while the Gelato Aluminium drink bottles with sleek bamboo lids and straps offered a modern, functional solution for staff. “The staff loved the drink bottles and notebooks. The colours and branding were great, and everyone was happy with the quality”, Anna explained, also praising Ally’s approach: “Ally asked good questions to determine our needs, made recommendations, and kept us updated on progress. The personal delivery to ensure we had the products on time was the icing on the cake”.

This branding exercise highlights how personalised merchandise can reinforce your brand identity while providing items that are genuinely useful for your team. Staff engagement is just one meaningful example, and these items can also extend to corporate gifting, customer rewards and event giveaways.

Local matters

Working with a trusted local partner like Sharp Office offers convenience, reliability, and personalised service. Mosaic already relies on Sharp Office for its everyday office products, and partnering with Ally for branded merchandise is another way to gain additional value from this relationship. Using a local supplier ensures you have a partner you can depend on. For businesses looking to explore branded merchandise, promotional items, or corporate gifting, we can help. Reach out to Ally to discover the wide range of products available and how thoughtful, practical branding can help your business engage staff, delight clients, and strengthen your identity.
