Sharp Office acknowledges that the Awabakal people are the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

Sharp Office is committed to regular engagement with our staff, supplier partners and customers to ensure that progress continues towards a sustainable future for all. We actively work to minimise the amount of product packaging, increase the use of biodegradable and recyclable materials in our products and product packaging, and encourage our customers to recycle product packaging on purchase and to repurpose / recycle any product when its end of useful life has been reached.

Respect for human rights and human dignity is a fundamental principle we embrace. There have been growing concerns over the environmental degradation and poor working conditions in some developing countries, which has culminated in Sharp Office implementing ethical sourcing practices.

Printer cartridges cannot be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin as they are made up of a complex mix of materials that can be turned into new products including: plastics, metal, inks and toners. When they are disposed of into landfill, these resources are lost. At Sharp Office, we are true believers in the necessity of recycling spent toner cartridges.

We strongly encourage customers to apply for their own recycling collection box for the office through Close the Loop. If you’d like to apply for your own cartridge recycling box, click the button below.

If you can’t get hold of your own recycling box, you can take empty cartridges to your nearest local Post Office or drop them into our Service Centre at Broadmeadow.
