For what reasons did you choose Sharp Office for your recent print management project?
Sharp has been an integral part of the College since we were founded – going from a single MFC in 1999 all the way to a fully managed print solution with a fleet of 13 copiers secured by PaperCut. We believe in maintaining these strong relationships and expanding them where possible with additional value-added services. Having a single point of management and escalation provides the College with a streamlined, personalised experience.
Can you quantify the advantages or benefits since implementing the project?
Staff have realised the impact of their printing and have moved to questioning the need to print a document vs. working with it electronically. We have also been able to provide school and department-level accounting, identify any issues of overspend, and ultimately reduce the number of prints and consumables. From this reduction we hope to realise additional savings on renegotiating our managed print agreement.
