RUN DIPG raise $100K for childhood cancer research

RUN DIPG is committed to raising awareness and supporting families impacted by the most lethal form of brainstem cancer in children, known as diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) or diffuse midline glioma (DMG). According to RUN DIPG, brain cancer kills more children in Australia than other diseases, with the survival rate of DIPG/DMG in two years less than 10% chance. Through community education, fundraising and involvement in critical research into DIPG/DMG, the charity is furthering the chances of developing a cure and helping to improve the outcomes of patients and families. This year, Sharp Office were proud to once again show support to RUN DIPG and were a sponsor of the RUN4RUNDIPG running event on Sunday 23rd September. We are pleased to see the charity has raised $100K, which will help further their initiatives and important research.

Our runners for the day included Joel, David, Penny, Nathan and Alexandria, alongside their families and furry friends.
