Sharp Office was honored to attend and serve as a Silver Sponsor for the Hunter Business Women’s Network (HBWN) Annual International Women’s Day event this month, supporting Lifeline Hunter. This year’s event was particularly special as it coincided with HBWN’s 30th anniversary, celebrating 30 years of supporting local businesswomen in “taking the lead” and achieving their professional goals. We’re excited to announce that $14,475 was raised for Lifeline Hunter.
Lifeline is one of Australia’s leading charity organisations supporting people facing emotional distress and mental health. As the event’s charity partner, Lifeline Hunter benefited from vital funds raised to support their crisis services, including Crisis Supporter training, counseling, education, and more. A powerful reminder from the day, every 28 seconds, an Australian calls Lifeline for assistance, and it takes approximately 12 months of training to become a Crisis Supporter.

Guests were privileged to hear from trailblazing jockey Michelle Payne, who shared her incredible journey in racing, overcoming challenges, and paving the way for future generations. Representing Sharp Office at the event were Penny Duncan, Ally Johnson, Alexandria Facchini, Richelle Johnson, and Julie Hunt from Team SENPOS, alongside industry peers. We are proud to support another organisation committed to making a real difference in our community.
