“There are a lot of changes in the [strata] industry,” Michael explained. “New legislation was introduced in November 2024 and February 2025, with more anticipated in June 2025. The aim is to make the strata environment a better place to live”, including support for animal ownership, the introduction of EV charging stations, and solar panels. Formal processes have also been simplified to make things easier for clients. To keep clients and his team informed, Michael ensures regular communication and education. “We send a monthly newsletter about what’s happening in the industry” and provide fortnightly staff training sessions and public seminars for strata committees to deliver information and run Q&A sessions. The goal of Strata Plus is to be proactive, and keeping communication open with our clients is essential, according to Michael.
